However, as you know from our blog we had to change the Doing Business components of the Index.   • Urban population refers to people living in urban areas as defined by national statistical offices.
  • Life expectancy at birth indicates the number of years a newborn infant would live if prevailing patterns of mortality at the time of its birth were to stay the same throughout its life.
  • Average number of years of education received by people ages 25 and older, converted from education attainment levels using official durations of each level.
